Worst 70ies clothes for men – inspiration for Halloween. Usually I don’t write about fashion but since it’s all posters or pictures in magazines in the 70s I think it’s kind of relevant when Halloween is around the corner and these hilarious photos of men in the 70s try to look sleek and cool. 

These images are so retro commercials and ads  for men’s clothes in the 70s that I began laughing. Worst of all I remember some walking around in some of these clothes in the 80s to. Which means they were way behind fashion ha ha.

Some years ago a website called Black Guido was an crazy artsy site and I was amazed and kind of frightened in a wonderful way – it’s like driving by a freeway accident and you can’t help slowing down to look. The feeling where you walk by a ground floor apartment and you can’t help looking through the windows. The worlds oldest ‘yarn bomber’ street artist is 104 years old!

At 104 years old, though, Brett is still an active member of a stealthy group of knitters called the Souter Stormers — a club dedicated to the fine art of “yarn bombing” (basically covering random objects like park benches or telephone boxes with colourfully knitted patterns).“I thought it was a really good idea to decorate the town and enjoyed having my crochet included,” said Brett, as reported in The Press and Journal. “I didn’t think it was good enough.”“I liked seeing my work showing with everyone else and thought the town looked lovely.”The yarn bombing took place in Selkirk, Scotland, earlier in September as part of the Yes Arts Festival. Although many of the members of the Souter Stormers are around retirement age or older, Brett is by far the eldest member.

So this year, the brand responded to its trolls with another ad juxtaposing the hate with the love.It took the negative tweets, printed them and made an instalation that spelled ‘love’, which it surrounded with positive tweets [above]. “If you want to be relevant, you have to be able to exist in the world that’s happening around you,” said Google Creative Lab executive creative director Steve Vranakis, who was on the White Pencil jury.
